Tutorial II

Installing Thunderbird, Enigmail, GnuPG in Redhat 9.0

Create a folder named thunder in /

Download file thunderbird-1.0.2.tar.gzdari http://www.mozilla.org/ Download Firefox 1.0.2 for Linux, Classic (9.9MB)

folder thunder.

tar-zxvf thunderbird-1.0.2.tar.gz

cd / thunderbird

. / Thunderbird

Installing Enigmail

Download file v0.90.2-tb-linux.xpi:

[Root @ voogen paul] # wget http://www.mozilla-enigmail.org/downloads/enigmail-0.90.2-tb-linux.xpi

enigmail.org/downloads/enigmail-0.90.2-tb-li

open Thunderbird

Click the Tools Tab -> extentions -> Install, navigate to the folder / home/paul/enigmail-0.90.2-tb-linux.xpi

Installing GnuPG

create folders GnuPG

download file gnupg-1.4.1.tar.gz from

http://www.gnupg.org/ (en) / download / index.html to the GnuPG folder.

tar-xvf gnupg-1.4.1.tar.gz

cd gnupg-1.4.1

. / Configure

Make

make install

gpg files was on: / usr / local / bin / gpg

open Thunderbird
click the tab Enigmail -> Preferences, fill in the GnuPG executable path to / usr / local / bin / gpg.

Creating a Key Pair.

click the tab Enigmail -> OpenPGP Key Management -> Generate -> New Key Pair, the content Passphrase with your password, ladle on Key does not expire, click the Generate key, then save the file in the folder / home / paul.

Export Keys to File.

click the tab Enigmail -> OpenPGP Key Management -> File -> Export Keys to File, the display appears Enigmail Confirm, click yes, then navigate to the folder / home / paul.

Create New Account Setup

Click Start -> Mozilla Tunderbird -> Profile Manager -> appear

welcome to the Create Profile Wizard -> click Next -> appear

Completing the Create Profile Wizard and fill in the Enter new profile name:

Voogen -> click Finish -> display appears Thunderbird - Choose User Profile,

click on Voogen, then click Start Thunderbird -> display appears New

Account Setup, click Next -> display appears Identity -> contents Your Name:

Voogen -> content Email Address: voogen@top.net.id -> appear Servers

Information -> click POP -> Incoming Server content; pop.top.net.id -> contents

Outgoing Server; smtp.top.net.id -> click Next -> appear User

Names -> content Incoming User Name: voogen -> content Outgoing User Name;

voogen -> click Next -> display appears Account Name -> contents Account

Name; voogen@top.net.id -> click Next -> appear Congratulations

-> Click Finish -> appear, Enter Your Password -> fill with

your password.

Creating Folders

Click the Tools Tab -> Message Filters -> New -> appears

Rules Filter display -> fill in the filter name; mobile

-> Subject column navigate to the To or CC -> column contains

Unmodified -> column is empty of contents; mobile@top.net.id ->

give a check list on the Move to folder -> click the New Folder

contents Name: Mobile -> click Local Folders column, point to

choose this for the parent -> click OK. -> Display appears

Message Filters, click on the mobile, then click Run Now

-> Finish. Repeat this step for some other email address.

Icon Short in Thunderbird

-> Click pd fig gear -> other icons -> Browser

/ home/admin1/Thunderbird/thunderbird/icons/mozicon50.xpm -> open.

On the General Tab berinama Email -> Tab Application -> Command:

/ home/admin1/Thunderbird/thunderbird /. / thunderbird-profilemanager

How to call:

open the Run Command: / home / admin / LimeWire /. / LimeWire

lexmark create a folder like this then download the file to this folder:
/ home / paul / lexmark

tar-xzvf CJLZ600LE-CUPS-1.0-1.tar.gz

sh-1.0-1.gz.sh z600cups-keep-tmp target

cd tmp

rpm-ivh z600llpddk-2.0-1.i386.rpm

rpm-ivh z600cups-1.0-1.i386.rpm-nodeps

Make sure the printer is connected.

Then the printer settings;
YaST -> Hardware -> Printers -> Configure

When properly written in the view Printer Configuration;
Available are:
Lexmark Z600 Series; Connection: / / Lexmark/Z600% 20Series

then click Configure ...

Name for printing:
z600series

Description of Printer:
Lexmark Z600 Series

Location of Printer:
USB printer on / / Lexmark/Z600% 20Series

click next

Select manufacturer:
Lexmark

Select model:
Z600 Color Jetprinter

click next -> if true automatically result in the Edit Configuration will be like this:

Name and basic settings Z600 Series
Printer model Lexmark Z600 Color Jetprinter
PPD files Lexmark Z600 v1.0-1 (Lexmark-Z600cj-cups.ppd.gz
Connection USB printer on
/ / Lexmark/Z600% 20Series

click OK -> Finish

Open OpenOffice.org Writer
File -> Printer Settings
Name z600series
Type CUPS: z600series

notes;

to see models of printers;
cd / usr / share / cups / model

look at / usr / share / cups / model of green growing file named;
Lexmark-Z600-lxz600cj-cups.ppd.gz

printer file format is;
ppd.gz

to see the version of the Cups;
rpm-q cups
